Radiesse is a dermal filler made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel. When injected under the skin, it adds volume and stimulates the production of collagen, which can improve the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and other facial contours. Radiesse is often used to treat smile lines, marionette lines, and chin wrinkles, and can also be used to enhance cheeks and other facial features. Results can last for up to 18 months.

Sculptra is an FDA-approved filler that can be used to address deep wrinkles and folds as well as volume loss. While other popular fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid which stimulates new collagen production deep in the skin. This means that in addition to creating instant volume, Sculptra also offers powerful skin rejuvenation for improved tone and texture. Sculptra also lasts longer than most hyaluronic acid fillers with visible results up to 3 years post-treatment.

The waxing process uses hard and soft wax, sometimes in strips, to remove unwanted hair. The wax application follows the same direction as hair growth before it’s removed in the opposite direction of growth. It exfoliates the skin in the process. The more consistently you wax, the thinner, finer, and slower your hair grows back.

Waxing works for all hair types—yes, even thick hair. Those with coarse, thick hair take note that if you maintain a steady waxing routine, your regrowth should ultimately become finer and softer.
